We tend to not have strong opinions. We all have a personal bias, a particular reason why we feel this way, usually for a good reason. But it is helpful to ask people questions. The good thing about deathloop is that it doesn’t have a huge amount of bells and whistles. When you have a great idea that you would like to build, you have to be able to explain and tell people what you have in mind. By the time you’ve done this, you don’t have to show it to people because it is something you can tell people.

There are two big things that developers can do to make it easier for the player to understand why something doesn’t work. One is to explain it more clearly. The other, and the one I think we should be pushing more, is to explain it in a way that makes it understandable to the player.
I think we can all agree that a clear description of what is going on, what is working and what isn’t, is invaluable.
