That man who planted a forest is a man who planted a forest.
The guy who planted a forest was a man who planted a forest.
I just bought a copy of “The Man Who Planted a Forest” for my Kindle. I think the story is pretty cool, with the main character being the same age as me, and in fact, I think the book may be good for anyone interested in learning about the history of the early forests in the Pacific Northwest, particularly with regard to the forest that was here before Europeans came.
The man who planted a forest is also known as the “man who planted a forest because he was a tree-planting guy.” According to the book, he is the one who planted a forest and his name was Alki, but that’s not entirely true. (He may have had his own brand of “Tree” named after himself.) In the story, his grandfather named him after Alki and gave him the forest in memory of his father.
In the Pacific Northwest today, there are only a few big trees left since the forests were reduced to a few patches of cleared land long ago. It’s been estimated that the man who planted a forest is the only living person who planted a forest in the Pacific Northwest. He was a tree-planting guy and his name was Alki, but thats not entirely true. He may have had his own brand of Forest named after himself.
